Document Revision 2.06

This document explains how to set up ad slots (and the ad slot groups that contain them) to interface with PulsePoint's header bidding wrapper.

REQUIRED
If you haven't already done so, you will need to follow the instructions at Configuring PulsePoint Wrapper and a prerequisite for that step is Setting up Google Ad Manager (formerly called DFP) for PulsePoint Header Bidding.

CAUTION
Please do not navigate away from this screen until you have saved your ad slots/ad slot groups. Otherwise, your info will be lost.

Ad Slots and Ad Slot Groups

Just as each ad tag must belong to an ad tag group (a.k.a. ad group), each ad slot must belong to an ad slot group. We suggest you use the same ad slot group whenever the ad structure is the same.

However, there is a significant difference in deployment via the IMPLEMENTATION AND CODE section.

  • For ad tags, you deploy each tag individually.
  • For ad slots, you deploy the entire ad slot group via the wrapper code.

EXAMPLES

> If you have multiple music-related pages, all of which have three ad slots in the same page locations, you should install the same ad slot group wrapper on all such pages.

> If you have multiple food-related pages, all of which have two ad slots in the same page locations, you should install the same ad slot group wrapper on all such pages.

Entering New Ad Slot

Ad Slot Name, Size/Format

  1. Navigate to WrapperWrapper Setup.
  2. Select an Ad Slot Group.
  3. You will see one of the following layouts:
